It was a nice day at Pevensey. Arrived to find Krafty rigging his 5.8 and it looked very windy, but didn't feel massively windy at the water's edge. Opted for a heavily downhauled (which I let off after a bit) 6.5m and headed out. Was pretty much perfect for an hour and a half, then it dropped a little and the current hadn't turned, so came in for the big board - it wasn't enough, the wind dropped further and that was that. Really glad to have made the effort as it was glorious for a while.
